Explore the ruins of the Bolton Abbey Priory and discover a landscape full of beauty. Walk along the riverside, woodland and moorland paths and enjoy local produce in the excellent restaurants, tea rooms and cafes.

This is a great day for everyone, It also has various events for children from Christmas, Easter, Halloween displays and fun trails and activities for the kids.

Stepping stones across the river are fun in the summer, also a great place to go paddling when its warm.

With have done various trails from the activity trails which tend to be buggy friendly and around 2 miles, you can do a full circular walk approx 5 miles to Barden bridge and back along the opposite side of the river, you can also go and explore the valley of desolation and find a hidden waterfall, even extending up to Simon seat summit, No dogs are allowed off lead and into the valley no dogs at all.

We take plenty of wild bird seen to feed the ducks and birds along the trail, plenty of places to stop and have a picnic or stop at the cafe along the way.
