You then turn right which they crosses open moorland often with cattle/sheep. The path is obvious as you follow it, after heavy rain the moorland can become boggy, also low cloud and poor visibility the path would become less obvious.

The path gently rises across the moorland, some great rocks on the right hand side to stop and enjoy the views before the steep paved ascent up to the summit.

From the summit You follow the wall and sign post to the  war memorial, this area can now become very boggy.

The path descends the hillside  to make a circular walk back to the car, making it a enjoyable circular walk.
