As we arrived it started to rain and blow a gale, we decided to take it slow and if it got any worse we would turn back as we knew it was a short walk, luckily, the path was covered by the forest, the only expsoed section was at the summit cairn which you can tell from the photos was quite windy, so we took a quick photo and dived below the summit for a shelter snack.


The path leads from the car park through the forest, the  circular waymarked walking trail follows a sheltered level path from the car park through the woodland to a viewpoint.

It is sign posted and the trail is a good path and easy to follow to the summit.
