ENJOYMENT 10/10

Frpm the lay by  head uphill from car park, and through a steel gate. Follow the track steeply uphill alongside waterfalls.

We followed this track straight up with the waterfalls on our left, in which people were jumping in as they are crystal clear.

The path from here is easy to follow, its wide and heads up hill towards the Lake, where there is a tunnel that's used for cavers, some old ruins to explore.

From these we followed the path on the left of the lake to the other side, exploring various old ruins along the way.

Its a great spot to enjoy a picnic too.

We followed the steep path up hill towards more old ruins and another waterfall.

We spent all day exploring this area and walked 8 miles, we have added the full slate trail to our long distance hiking list.

One of our favourite places to explore in Snowdonia.
