Situated in the Gisburn forest and has various trails suitable for all levels, Gisburn forest trails also has its own car park with a children's trail and small play area, also do bike hire.

We have walked a few trails in the area, there is bird boxes, forest trails and this full circular walk.

It sets off from the reservoir's School Lane Car Park and takes a route through woodland and fields, and picks up an old railway track before dropping down to the reservoir. 

There is sometimes cattle in the fields and sheep along the route, couple of steeper inclines but overall gentle walking. 

Which ever route you take there are sign posts and a map at the start.
