MILES- From 5 Miles but various paths

FACILITIES- No facilities on route but some further along the road at Crowden car park

Map is recommended for this walk as there is no direct or advertised route.

I have added a link below which gives a partial route that will pass the Geocache and memorial cross.

Once at the top of the Moorland and walking with the fence line on your left, you will eventually spot a cross on your right, we made our own path through the heather directly too the cross which is a section of the plane wreckage.

From here we used out map to pick up a faint path over the Moors to drop down by Arnside brook, this was pathless with steepish drops but with care its not difficult and you can see some faint sections where other people have walked. We picked up a path at the brook and followed it down hill to find various waterfalls.

A map is needed to to get back to the car via one of the paths, there are various depending how long you wish to walk.
